Mnemba Island + Maasai Village + Natural Aquarium
Overview
This full-day trip brings together the best of Zanzibar: the ocean, the local culture and its wildlife. We start on the water around Mnemba Island, looking for dolphins, snorkeling in clear water and relaxing on a beautiful sandbank, before a freshly prepared lunch. In the afternoon, we visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their way of life, and finish the day with the sea turtles at the Natural Aquarium.

Hotel Pick-up
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Muyuni Beach. The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on your hotel’s location and traffic.
Dolphin Watching Experience
Upon arrival at Muyuni Beach, we’ll board a boat and head towards the dolphin area. You’ll have the opportunity to spot dolphins in their natural environment and, depending on the conditions, possibly swim near them.
Snorkeling Around Mnemba Island
After the dolphin experience, we’ll continue to a beautiful snorkeling location near Mnemba Island. Get ready to explore the underwater world, with colorful tropical fish and beautiful coral formations. Snorkeling equipment will be provided.
Sandbank Experience
Next, we’ll visit a beautiful sandbank where you can relax, swim in the turquoise waters, enjoy fresh tropical fruits, and take amazing holiday pictures.
Lunch
We’ll head back to the mainland for a freshly prepared lunch. The meal will include a selection of seafood, rice, chicken, chips, and vegetable sauce.

Maasai World Cultural Experience
After lunch, we’ll drive approximately 30 minutes towards the northern part of Zanzibar to visit Maasai World. Here, you’ll discover more about the Maasai community, their fascinating traditions, cultural heritage, and way of life. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Maasai dancing, participate in cultural activities, and experience some of their traditional games.
Natural Aquarium Experience
Our next stop will be the Natural Aquarium, approximately 25 minutes away. This is a wonderful opportunity to see Zanzibar’s sea turtles up close. You’ll learn about these beautiful marine animals and have the chance to feed them, interact with them, and swim alongside them under the aquarium’s guidelines. Don’t forget your camera, as this is a lovely place to capture memorable holiday pictures.
Return to Your Hotel
After a full day of ocean adventures, cultural discoveries, and wildlife experiences, we’ll begin our journey back to your hotel.
